The Vintage Club 2027 Series 3 Just Landed

The Vintage Club is back, and this one leans all the way into the barn find look. Five weathered classics in the Silver Series, each with faded paint, surface rust, and a story you can almost read off the roof. All five are in the case now.

Most themed sets chase a clean, glossy look. This one does the opposite, and that is the whole point. The 2027 Vintage Club is a Series 3 barn find run, five classic shapes made to look like they have been parked in a shed for forty years. Faded paint, patches of rust, dust across the glass, and just enough shine left to remember what they used to be. If you love a car with some miles and some mystery, this set was made for you.

These are Silver Series cars, which is the more budget friendly way Hot Wheels does a themed run. Basic wheels, no Real Riders, no metal chassis. What carries the set is the finish work. The weathering and the tampo detail on each car do a lot of heavy lifting, and on the shelf they read like a row of real survivors waiting for a new owner.

Here is the lineup, and all five are already in the case, so tap any one to see it up close.

  • BMW 2002, 1/5. The little sedan that started BMW's sport car reputation. This one wears a moody black with a low, planted stance, so it looks less like a barn relic and more like a survivor someone quietly kept running. Clean and mean.
  • Custom '69 Volkswagen Squareback, 2/5. A deep rust red wagon with heavy patina and a slammed ride height. The old VW badge and the worn side graphics sell the story right away. This is the everyman hauler of the set, and the custom stance gives it real attitude.
  • Jaguar MkI, 3/5. Faded British racing green with rust creeping across the hood and roof. The classic Jaguar curves still shine through the weathering, which is exactly what makes a good barn find so much fun to look at. A quiet favorite in this run.
  • Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, 4/5. The famous gullwing shape in a dusty raw silver. Even covered in decades of grime, that front end and those long fenders are unmistakable. It brings the class to the set, like finding a legend under a tarp.
  • '69 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, 5/5. The hero car and the show stopper. One of the most beautiful shapes ever built, in a warm faded yellow with light wear across the body. Closing the set with the Stradale is exactly the right call.

Why The Barn Find Look Works

A brand new set of shiny cars looks great, but a weathered set tells a story. Each of these five feels like it has a past, and that gives you a reason to slow down and really look at the casting. The rust and the fade also hide almost nothing. If anything, they show off the shape even more, because your eye follows the worn spots along every line of the body.

Collector Tip of the Week

Weathered and matte style finishes can pick up shine or marks if you rub them, so try not to wipe the surface. If you want to clean one, use a soft dry brush and light air, not a cloth. Keep them out of direct sun too, since the printed rust and fade can shift over time under strong light.

Final Thoughts

This is a fun, affordable set that photographs beautifully and lines up like a little row of forgotten classics on the shelf. Chase the whole run so you have the full barn, or just grab the one that speaks to you. With shapes this good, there is no wrong pick here.

Come find them on an upcoming show, or just come hang out and talk shop. Either way, bring your favorite build.
